The Green Academy for Garden Based Curriculum Integration

With generous support from a family foundation, the CSGP has recently established the Green Academy for Garden-Based Curriculum Integration. The primary purpose of the Green  Academy is to encourage more extensive, consistent pedagogical use of school gardens at CSGP-affiliated schools  by providing teachers and UA interns at these schools with a set of grade appropriate and subject specific, garden-based lesson plans. The program also offers a series of professional  development workshops that demonstrate the basics of gardening (soil science, composting, aquaponics, etc.) and place-based teaching skills.

We would like to acknowledge

In addition to the family foundation above, the CSGP would like to acknowledge the generosity of the:

  • Agnes Nelms Haury Endowment
