We have been working with Ochoa since 2010. They have a large garden at the school that is managed by a combination of students in the Community and School Garden Workshop, visiting Border Studies Program students, staff from the Community Food Bank, and the teachers and families of the school children. Ochoa now has a dedicated garden coordinator who is working to establish a garden-to-cafeteria program. Several CSGP interns are planting medicinal garden and writing associated curriculum.
