Tully Elementary

Tully Elementary

Tully Elementary’s garden is a collaboration between an Ecology/Gardening Instructional Specialist, the students, other teachers and staff, parents of students, UA interns, and volunteers from the community. It currently includes in-ground and above ground vegetable garden beds, a rainwater cistern, fruit trees, a native-plant pollinator garden, and chicken coop and desert tortoise habitat. Tully is developing rain garden basins to increase the number of native plants and habitat around the school campus. Students visit the garden as an elective class and in small groups throughout the week.
