Sallie Marston is a political geographer and social theorist and a Regents Professor Emerita in the School of Geography, Development and Environment. She is also the Founding Director of the UA School Garden Workshop. Although recently retired, Sallie will continue to support the SGW as a program consultant and continue her research interest on the social, emotional, ethical and learning effects of gardens on school children and young people.
