Ulises Acuña
Lead Field Technician
Ulises Acuña was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, the son of two Mexican immigrants from Sonora. Growing up, he spent his summers working on his father's cattle ranch in Sonora, where he developed a strong work ethic and deep connection to the land. During college, Ulises worked in construction while pursuing his B.S. in Sustainable Built Environments at the University of Arizona, graduating in 2025. Through working with cattle, agriculture, and construction, Ulises gained an affinity for serving the community. Today, he is proud to contribute to the School Garden Workshop program.
